Dr. François Fenaille

François Fenaille

François Fenaille (40 years old) received his diploma degree in analytical chemistry (1998) from the University of Nantes (France) and his PhD degree in analytical chemistry and mass spectrometry in 2004 from Pierre & Marie Curie University (Paris, France). In this period, he studied the modifications of milk lipids and proteins by mass spectrometric methods.

In 2005, he joined the French Laboratory of Fractionation and Biotechnology in Les Ulis (France), where his main interest was to develop and implement mass spectrometric techniques for the identification and structural characterization of proteins and their post-translational modifications.

Since 2007, he has been working as a research scientist in the team metabolome, biomarkers and therapeutic proteins leaded by Christophe Junot.

His field of research is mainly focused on the development of innovative mass spectrometry-based methods to characterize and quantify proteins, such as therapeutic proteins, biomarkers and toxins.

François Fenaille authored or co-authored 45 peer reviewed papers and 1 book chapter.
